Well it seems that the UK women have donned another responsibility this time on their shoulders; a survey conducted has shown that women in UK are the main breadwinner for their family. With men earning less than their female counterparts these days. The survey revealed that women are far more happy to be the main breadwinner for their house, which also help them to have an upper hand in the home budget.

Meanwhile men are getting time to go out, meet their friends and devote some time in the gym. All these facts were revealed during the survey conducted by the online bank Egg, this transformation in role gave men more time, and being the main breadwinner made women a bit stressful. In the recent five years this change was seen in the society and the shift in role has made women more responsible and sensible.

According to Alison Wright the spokeswoman of Egg, “There really has been a change over the last five years with some of the old stereotypes of who earns the money and who pays the bills being broken down”. Even men now have agreed the fact that their partners are able to be the main breadwinner of the family and they are cooperating with their female counterparts to get the balance of the family right.

Well Mrs. Jane a Software Engineer by profession and her husband Mr. Jane both living happily with their two sons’. Mr. Jane left his job few years back and embraced his new responsibility to look after his two sons’. While Mrs. Jane carrying on with her job giving her family the monetary support. Mr. Jane is happy with his new responsibility and appreciates his wife for being the main breadwinner for their family. Mr. Jane these days have lot of leisure time for himself which he is enjoying.

Still their remains a painful side of this change in the family cycle, as few sections of men is still finding it hard to accept that their wife’s earning more than them and are the main breadwinner of their family. This transformation has hinted that women these days are becoming more professional in their lives and getting good dividends for the services.

The inputs from all these technical gadgets will help in managing the traffic effectively than ever before.

Last week the city’s traffic light system was completely overhauled by including satellite technology to monitor the vehicles especially buses. The installation of the electronic sign boards was carried out in March and there exists a seven month long delay because of the councils wait for the contractors BT and the installation of the communication equipment by the Scottish Power.

While commenting on this the city’s transport leader said: “The system will equip us to help the drivers to identify the parking areas and further quick alerts to improve their journey.”

The spots identified for the installation of sign boards that give indication of the parking spaces include Haymarket Terrace, Dalry Road, Torphichen Street, Lothian Road, Western Approach Road, Dalkeith Road, Newington Road and the Pleasance.

The council believe that the new initiatives will help in relieving the excess traffic jamming and will convert the parking an easy affair in Edinburgh.

The advanced sign boards will give more specific information than those existing ones that only say the parking spaces are “full” or “spaces”. The signs will also give information about the journey time to reach a particular destination.
