Drinking driving becoming a big menace
January, 17
Drinking driving is a new addition to the multi-cultural facet of Britain. These days this has more over taken a massive shape with many tragedies occurring daily, claiming lives of many innocent people. If we look at the records we can find several cases of drinking driving accidents are being reported in which many people even lost their lives without any reason.
In one of the recent such case of drinking driving Mr Newlove, 47 was hit by a speeding car in which he perished. Another reason which has been one of the causes of such untoward incidents is the availability of cheap alcohol in the market. Police is trying out every single measure to eradicate this malpractice which is proving fatal for many.
There is a need for a strong concern for this sought of situations or such incidents would become a normal scene in the society. Ian Rushton, the Crown Prosecution Service’s chief prosecutor in Cheshire expressed, about the murder of Mr Newlove by three teenage drivers as, “This case is a strong warning for those young people who think they can get away with harassing, punching and intimidating residents, never caring about the consequences of their acts.”
Drinking driving has now became a big curse for Britain and it needs some strong action, so that it gets under control and not goes on taking its toll on many such innocent people like Mr Newlove who was kicked like a football by a bunch of erring teenage drivers.
