If you like to see dreams in your sleep, then soon you would be able to visualise your fantasies and dreams on a display screen. Technology has moved so far that now a mind reading device is all set to capture what you are thinking or dreaming.
This innovative step has been taken by Californian scientists who are developing a device which can identify seen images from brain activity patterns. This gadget will come up as one of the most revolutionary creation. The device will be based on the mathematical model relating perceptual brain activity to point in three dimensional space called “voxels”. The research conducted by the team of scientist got about 72 to 92 percent of accuracy to visualise the image which of 120 images two volunteers were viewing.
If this research ends successfully then soon it will be practical to reconstruct a picture of a person’s visual experience from measuring the activity of the brain. This decoder will make out the nerve data and will show the images which are in the brain.
As a result of this new research, real or imagined images in the brain could soon be seen on a visual display screen. It may even be possible to take pictures from dreams. This new invention will give a wide scope to known and see what we dream and desires.
