If you are an ardent fan of coffee then you may cut the risk of dementia. The study suggests that intake of coffee helps to block the damage cholesterol can inflict on your body. Coffee has always been a topic of debate with some suggesting it harmful for body while some favouring its intake.

But this hot drink has been successfully tested to cut short the risk of Alzheimer’s disease recently in a study. It helps to avoid you from the dementia risk. The study found that a vital barrier between the brains and the main blood supply of rabbits fed a fat-rich diet was protected in those given a caffeine supplement. These evidences give a strong signal as to how much caffeine can help you.

Caffeine helps to keep the blood brain barrier intact, as the blood brain barrier is a filter which protects the central nervous system from potentially harmful chemicals which is carried out in the rest of the bloodstreams. So it has a great role to play for keeping your nervous system functioning well.

So next time you sip in your scrumptious cup of hot coffee don’t forget to remember its health value also in mind.
