Eco-fair to feature new style homes

The first eco-housing fair in UK which will start on in the month of August will showcase over 50 houses of the future. These future homes will take shape in the outskirts of Inverness; these future homes will not only feature the design of homes in future, but will also exhibit the different styles of interior designing to look for.
In this futuristic fair the builders will deliver their expert skills in giving a new dimension to the construction sector. This fair will feature about 54 show homes, out of which 40% will be affordable while remaining 60% will be available for sale.
It was hardly felt by experts and people to make affordable home more qualitative and well designed. Taking out a key point out, Fiona Porteous (Highland Housing Fair Project Manager) said, “Given fossil fuels are fast running out, and the current housing model we have in the UK is just not sustainable.
She further said it’s the need of the hour to make a change in the way new homes are designed, so that they could be made from sustainable resource in the future and will thus do not require traditional energy resources”. It is thought that this upcoming fair will definitely attract a huge crowd, giving them the chance to have a glimpse of the future homes; it will also give a new dimension to the present construction style which need a makeover.
